Simple answer is there is no such thing as a temprorary EAD. There used to be but they were eliminated some years ago.
You will just have to wait and hope. If however, the processing time exceeds 90 days you can take an infopass appointment and the local office will contact the service center to get things rolling.

I filed i485 after my i140 approved. But my company was sold to an other company. Till my company didn't file i140 amendment.
Can i change job after 180 days of filing i485. Even though my amendment is not filed yet.
what may be the problems.

The upside-down "V" shaped branches in the upper left corner are distracting, but could probably be cloned out with a bit of work in PS. The bright leaves in the upper right corner are also distracting, but a bit of burning in could probably make them stand out less. The water is blown out down at the bottom, but that's easy to excuse if you're using a P&S where you don't have much control over the exposure - or even a way to reliably gauge it until the image is on your computer monitor. Overall, the image has potential, and it shouldn't be too hard to fix most of the little issues I see with a bit of time in Photoshop. :)

Masters with 2 years of relevant work experience OR
Bachelors with 6 years of relevant work experience. Atleast thats what I remember from my EB2 PERM application.

I believe you should be okay if you were not employed during that period. Remember the green card is for future employment.
But for the best advice check with an Attorney before you proceed to the interview and be prepared for questions regarding the gap.

Many people might have lost job because of last year rally. Here I heard one of company in Chicago area fired all the illegal immigrants in last year immeditely after rally. So this kind of things may not be necessarily positive.
If Illiegals can protest and can have large rallies across the nation then whats the problem with the legals? Why can't we put our point forward through these kind of peaceful but strong measures.:confused:

I got my receipts last weekend
It was some what similar story for me.
I my case my wife's app and mine got separated-
Mine got rejected on grounds of incorrect fees (there was a single check)
my wifes app turned up after a month or so
we refiled and got the receipts
I am now trying to find out what to expect for EAD and AP
I wonder if special handling cases get a better turnaround
Keep me posted with what happens with you- and maybe we can start to geta n ide as to what to expect next

I have an approved H1B for teaching Maths, but I got an offer for teaching ESL (I am certified in both the subject). Am I allowed to teach ESL also? Is the visa subject specific?

What title they used in your labor certification? Did they explicitly mentioned as MATHS in LCA?
Unless and until you are working in the same professional, as the one filed in your LCA, you should be good. Suppose if they filed for a teacher and you are working as a programmer, then it becomes the technical violation of your LCA.
Though you want to teach ESL, as you are still teaching some thing, it should be good.

So now if I want to change my job
Using EAD , I know that job duties have to be similar.
How about on H1b transfer? Does the job duties similar requirement hold good?
Also anyone changing job on H1b , if ex-employer withdraws I-140, what kind of RFE does it generate?
