I am currently looking for a job and I have a US Master's degree. I am stuck in this retrogression and my lawyer applied for EB3, and I have no choice but looking for another job that requires me a M.S. with higher salary so I could apply for EB2
Do you know where I can see which is the minimum wage for applying as EB2?? I remember in my Labor certification there was a place where I used to check minimal wage requirements.
I am rest of the world, and having an EB2 application will let me jump out of the retrogression if EB2 continues to be available

My company has filed for EB-1 multinational manager for me.....I was on L1A earlier. I dont think the process is as fast as some folks think......specially since for EB1 manager category I140 premium processing is not allowed......
I guess the requirement for L1A is that one should be managing a business, people and processes...... and should have been employed in managerial capacity for the same company outside US......once L1A is done (it takes 5-6 days under premium procesing).....my understanding is that it establishes a strong basis for EB1 filing

The so called friend of this guy is not a manager but is going to be made into a manager just for the EB1 purpose. How can they do that. I believe this is a Indian consulting company!!

I applied AP Feb 3 2011 for my wife and i got approved mail and also checked website saying it was approved.

One more thing about stamping in Canada and Mexico.
The chances of getting a new H1 stamp, even if you have another H1 stamp that's expired, are very low if you have no college Education from USA.
So if you have your college degrees from outside USA, its best to go to home country for stamping. The reason is that the consulate would simply pass the buck and say "Go to your home country for stamping as we do not have qualified people to evaluate your education from India/China/whatever".
On the other hand, if you have MS, or BS from USA, then visa stamping should be a fairly easy process, unless there are other complications in your case.
Then you would have to fly directly from Canada to your home-country for stamping.

I got my answer, the very next question talks about I-140 withdrawl and its impact on the AOS application if job changed using portabiliity within 180 days of filing.

Only I-485 is immigrant intent. LC/I-140 - are filed by the employer, it's not 'your' intent. Medical exams don't matter at all.

Hello All, Pardon me if I'm bringing up the question that's already been answered, but couldn't find any answer anywhere in the forum.
I just received my FP notice today but my wife hasn't received any. I'll wait few more days certainly before calling USCIS, but has anybody come across this situation? We had mailed all the applications together at NSC and have Receipt Notices.
Does InfoPass come to any help here?

Briefly Explain about case PD, Received Date, type of Case. Explain current Priority date, out of process date etc.. whatever suits your case.
After that explain about creating Service Requests, Infopass appointments didn't make any progress.
Google 7001 you can find lot of Descriptions in site for writing Description.

My I-140 has my employers head office address in Part 1( as petitioner/employer). My future job location in I-140 petition is different from the one I am currently working at( on H1B). My H1b and I-140 were filed for different locations.
Does anybody have an idea which address of employer should I write in the employer address section- Head office address or my current job location.

hi friends,
what happens if 485 gets denied for some reason like if the record is not clean or communicable diseases etc. does this mean our green card is rejected. actually my wife and myself entered the country on AP. but we have our H1 and H4 extension paper till dec 09. if by any case my GC gets denied r we out of status.
any help is appreciated.

But my questions is that what happen if my GC applied thru Emp A for "programmer analyst" with 60K and now I am planning to change my job with Emp B as "Sr. Program Manager" with 100K?
Since my Emp A (GC sponsor) agree to continue the GC process, why do i need to invoke AC21 with Emp B?
Looking forward to have your answer on this... thank you so much in advance...

in the $1000 bracket there's some choice.
Personally, it's a tough space......, glad I am not making that decision.
for personal bias reasons, only the 350D or D70/50 are worth looking at.
Olympus makes nice gear, but in a newer format and has expensive accessories
