I am in the same state as your's. After talking with Lawyer and after reading lot of forums, i went ahead and submitted with PAR:PAROLEE for both Manner of Last Entry and Current Immigration status.

Holographic images, laser engraved fingerprints, and high resolution micro-images will make the card nearly impossible to reproduce. Tighter integration of the card design with personalized elements will make it difficult to alter the card if stolen. Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) capability will allow Customs and Border Protection officers at ports of entry to read the card from a distance and compare it immediately to file data. Finally, a preprinted return address will enable the easy return of a lost card to USCIS.
Existing card holders don't need to do anything. They will get new cards as they apply for renewals or replacements in the normal course.

First renew your passport as soon as possible.
After that go to your local CBP office and request for I-94 update by showing your approved H1B petetion. If you are lucky, the CBP official might correct your I-94.
If not, apply for your H1B extension bfr your I-94 expires( a month bfr will do) as you can file for H1B extension six months bfr the current one expires ...

I don't think you need to change that I-94. But you need it to prove your last POE and date. My I94 stapled on the PP expired long time back. I just kept extending my H1 to have the valid stay.

I posted this question on another thread but its on page 38-39, so thought I might post as a new thread so that I can get some answer to my concerns...
I renewed my EAD thru e-filing. Everything was ok but the address to send the Confirmation Receipt is TSC. My initial I-485 is at NSC. My address did not change anytime from the time I applied I-485.
I entered the correct info in question 11..which was:
Have you ever before applied for employment auth. form USCIS?
X Yes(if yes, continue below)
I checked yes
which USCIS office?
My answer:
LINCOLN, NE date: 08/14/2007
Should I be worried about this or can I just feel its okay?
Is this something okay?

@zamoo: due to the family emergency, i have already used my FMLA for the current year. thats the reason, i dont see any option. But u are right in suggesting that i should not take any drastic measures. i am still in the process of iscussing my options with my hr dept.

You can start LLC or 'C' corp on EAD. No consequences. You cannot start 'S' corp on EAD. See this:

3.) Depends on your state of registration. Contact Department of State in your state of residence. In Texas you have to pay $750/yr even if you are not doing any business in LLC.

As such, there is no grace period and it starts counting towards unauthorized stay (US is somewhat liberal for unauthorized stay for up to 180 days). It should be fine getting H1B transferred ASAP.
After 180 day, reentry can be banned for three years. After 1 years reentry can be banned for 10 years.
